I went with my buddy and another friend who was older and had wheels. Had to drag my sister along as chaperone :0
She partied as much as we did. no prob there.
Got tix from the sharks selling them at 200% mark up for orchestra seats. we gladly paid a big number, I cant remember how much. I can still remember the insanity of people dancing and the aisles full and so many happy people just having pure fun. It blew my mind. The next time this was to happen would be the Radio City shows which were equally as mind blowing. I have never been the same.
The setlist is fabulous (has so many of my fav tunes) and is so well played, it is an exceptional show. I am so glad I had a playboy centerfold to lose my virginity, so to speak.
Then to see them in Radio City Music Hall, where I had been as a kid to see Christmas shows and shit like that ... with the red carpet and plush seats. It was BEAUTIFUL. They sold glasses of beer in the lobby ! Just like broadway shows ! it was a freak show! The fans were the same as ever - dancing everywhere - guys in wheelchairs doing wheelies riding around in front of the stage. It was chaos. I was a deadhead forever.

My friend Peter called me up a few weeks before this show to ask whether I wanted to spend some moolah and get tix for the very first row!!! Hmmmmmm, well, why not?? So, that's where we ended up! Very good show!!! They came out burning with that fantastic Jack Straw which I listened to tonight for the first time in years when I got a copy of Go To Nassau. Also a beautiful Peggy-o from what I remember!!! Now if I could only find my pix from that show!!!

After listening for 9 years, this was my first time hearing them LIVE. Jack Straw kicked ass! After this show there was never any doubt where my heart stood....Thanks Ken!

Rare is the Uncle John's that truely comes together and snaps your head back over and over. Check out the last couple minutes of bliss where Billy and Mickey round everyone up and Jerry snarls and snaps it to the close.
Like others...had it first as a King Biscuit Flower Hour tape. The Good Lovin' was a part of that broadcast too and this one always ranked high for me. Haven't heard rest of show yet so I'll rate a 4 because you have to pick a number!

Loved this Terrapin when it was on the King Biscuit Flour Hour. Would be nice to have a soundboard of this show.
